I'm annoyed. I lost my Daeg rune stone, because I went to set my bag of stones down upside down, and all of them tumbled out into the cluttered section of my room... so I may have to make a new stone.
I've been wanting to make a new set of runes for awhile, so while this gives me an excuse to do that, I began to think about perhaps acquiring a set of tarot cards, and learning to read them. I've heard I can't buy them for myself, so.... that provides an interesting challenge.
If anyone out there reads tarot, it'd be awesome to get tips of how to learn the cards, and anything else I need to know about reading them. And if there are any other rune readers out there, what are your tips?
Until next time, Blessed be!

An Introduction
I converted to Wicca about a year ago, after a few years of being an agnostic and feeling awfully unfulfilled in the religious/spiritual department. Before that, I was raised Christian, in the broadest and least strict way (eclectic lutherans, I suppose you could say).
I'd felt drawn to the religion my whole life, throughout which little incidents and moments made me think I should look into it, but I wasn't really ready until last year. Once I began to read about the beliefs, I realized that the conclusions I sort of drew for myself over the past years, being spiritually adrift, based on what made sense to me... well, all of it was right here. I was, basically, a Wiccan without realizing it.
It took me a lot longer to be more open about my new faith, and I told myself I would stick to the religious aspects, and not delve into magic. But, of course, magic is a lifestyle, and it's hard to walk the Wiccan path without it in your life. So that didn't last...
It's been about five months since I really began exploring my spiritual being, and though my personal dieties haven't chosen me (no matter, since I have some in mind I'd like to try and seek out) I have recently discovered my spirit/totem/power animal to be the Crow. Hence, the name of the blog. :)
So, long introduction over, welcome to my path. This will be a digital journal/book of shadows, though I have a physical one as well. I may copy some rituals or spells from it here once in awhile, to share the effective ones. Until then, blessed be.
